Craig Saunders has worked as a professional writer and editor in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
As a writer, his work has been published widely in consumer and trade magazines. These stories have been purchased by magazines and newspapers in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
He has been a consumer magazine editor and editor-in-chief of a national trade magazine, and has managed production for a mid-sized Canadian trade book publisher. His red pen has graced manuscripts for hundreds of books, mostly adult non-fiction, high/low chapter novels and primary education texts. A former Program Chair for the Editors' Association of Canada (Toronto), he is also a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists and author of What is the Theory of Plate Tectonics? Today, he manages an editorial services business with an international clientele of book, magazine and newspaper publishers, and consulting companies, and teaches in the Publishing program at Ryerson University in Toronto.
When not writing or editing, Saunders is probably hiking, cross-country skiing, cooking or tobogganing with his son. He holds Canadian and British citizenships, and currently resides in Toronto, Canada.
